    Greetings Staff Members,

At my desk in California I thoroughly enjoy reading each of your reports on Columbus ‘09. Rather than respond to each of your articles individually I want to thank you as a whole body–the spirit in which you work, where you support and encourage and challenge each other in your work as writers and reporters comes across in your articles. I’m imagining the great fun of this intense and ’stretching’ time, and my faith is stretched too.

I also love reading each of your bios, and am so happy to find one of you who grew up near my home town of Morrison, Illinois (though my home now is Oakland, California).

What a wonderful way to celebrate Independence Day!
