MDS calls for volunteers to help build house

Mennonite Disaster Service still has plenty of spots open for volunteers to come and swing a hammer. The MDS house is being constructed behind the convention center. Please visit the MDS exhibit booth to sign-up. You are also welcome to come and see the progress of the build. Once the build is complete, MDS will conclude with a house dedication on Saturday at 11 a.m. Skilled or unskilled, all are welcome.
Rachel Lapp - from Goshen, is an assistant professor of communication and adviser to the yearbook at Goshen College. The co-author of a book on Indiana women in history, published in 2006 by The Globe Pequot Press, she is also a freelance writer, editor, and communication consultant.
