It reminds me of a line from a Bob Bennet song speaking of Christians "standing hand to shoulder in an unbroken line" linked through time. It is such a poignant image to me as I imagine my ancestors in that unbroken line and the heritage given to me; the heritage of being Christ's love in this world and in this time. Am I carrying his love forward in my time? Have I shown my children Christ's love in abundance that they, too, will stand in this line through time? Have I helped to bring others to join?
